Notes: The Beatles filmed a series of promotional films on colour 35mm film for their upcoming new single "Hello Goodbye"
at the Saville Theatre in London. All the films were directed by Paul and Tony Bramwell.

This is the most common of the videos filmed which we have called "Version 1a".In this version they wore their Sgt Pepper
outfits with a psychedelic background. The songs ending coda features Hawaiian female dancers who join them on stage.

Due to a recent ban on miming by the BBC the promo was not broadcast on TV in England at the time. It's Worlwide premiere was in
America on "The Ed Sullivan Show" on Nov 26, 1967 followed by a broadcast on "The Hollywood Palace" on Nov 28, 1967.

We believe the original promo was never shown on UK TV until May 9, 1986 when it appeared on the BBC TV program "Omnibus: Video
Jukebox" which was a TV special about the history of music promos.

In October 2000 to promote the "1" album Apple distributed this promo again but however instead of the original ending with the
Hawaiian dancers they substituted some of the outtake footage seen in Version 3 thus making another version which we will call "Version 1b".

Finally the original "Version 1" promo was remastered in glorious quality and officially released in 2015 on the "1+" DVD & Blu-ray.
