Notes: The Beatles now filmed a promotional film for the A side of their new single "Penny Lane".On the first day they were
filmed in and around Angel Lane in Stratford, London with footage of John walking the streets by himself and then all four Beatles are seen riding horses albeit not terribly successfully.

On the second day they returned again to Knole Park and were filmed once more riding horses and then having a strange tea party.

It premiered on UK television on "Top of The Pops" on February 16 and in America on "The Hollywood Palace" (in colour) on
February 25 and then on "American Bandstand" on March 11 (strangely in black and white).Varied quality copies, in colour and
black and white, were occasionally broadcast on TV throughout the 80's and 90's which subsequentially turned up on numerous video bootlegs.

The original promo was finally remastered and sent to TV stations to promote the "1" CD in November 2000 and was once more
remastered and re-edited with some previously unseen footage and officially released on the Beatles "1+" DVD and Blu-ray in 2015.
