Notes: Over two days, at the very end of January 1967, The Beatles filmed a promotional film for their new single "Strawberry
Fields Forever".It was filmed at "Knole Park" and it was produced by Tony Bramwell and directed by Peter Goldmann from Sweden.

It premiered on UK television on "Top of The Pops" on February 16 and in America on "The Hollywood Palace" (in colour) on
February 25 and then on "American Bandstand" on March 11 (strangely in black and white).Only average copies in both colour and
black and white were broadcast on TV throughout the 80's and 90's some of which subsequentially turned up on video bootlegs.

"The Beatles Anthology" TV broadcast showed a remastered 2:14 minute re-edit of the promo containing some previously unseen
outtake footage and the DVD version, released in 2003, had another different re-edit which also included some home movie
footage taken during the filming. Finally in November 2015 a beautiful fully restored re-edit was issued on the "Beatles 1+" DVD & Blu-ray.
