Notes: For this third version The Beatles are now wearing their Shea jackets and are playing behind cardboard props of a train
carriage and a plane. Ringo begins "playing drums" through the train window on the side of the carriage but then he picks up a
hand saw and starts removing parts of the window so he can drum easier.

Obviously not a lot of thought went into the use of props in some of these videos. It is not known whether Version 2 or 3 were
broadcast on TV back in 1965 but most probably it was this version. After its original TV broadcasts this promo was not seen
again until it turned up on "The Tube" on Feb 27, 1987 and again on the TV special "25 Years of Top of The Pops" on Dec 31, 1988.

That was the last time it was seen until "The Beatles Anthology" was issued on home VHS & DVD in Sept 1996 when they included a
compile of "Day Tripper" (Versions 2 & 3) in lovely remastered quality. Finally in 2015 it was issued in full on the "1+" Blu Ray collection in near pristine quality.
