Notes: Following their four-day Easter break, The Beatles returned to London`s Scala Theatre to film the concert performance sequence which marked the climax of the A Hard Day`s Night film.

The performance took place in front of 350 fans, each of whom was paid a standard union fee for their appearance. Among them was
Phil Collins, then a 13-year-old child actor, but later to find fame with Genesis and as a solo artist.

In the film The Beatles are shown miming to four songs: "Tell Me Why", "If I Fell", "I Should Have Known Better" and "She Loves
You". They also filmed others, including "And I Love Her" and "You Can`t Do That", but these were unused in the final cut.

"ITN News" were there to film some footage for the nightly news broadcasts.
