Notes: Almost every news outlet around the World filmed The Beatles arrival in Australia at Sydney`s Mascot Airport.
They arrived during a torrential rain storm but were still expected to get on the back of a flat-bed truck and do a circuit of the airport for the thousands of fans whom most of had been there all night.
Needless to say the boys got soaked and their new suits, they had purchased in Hong Kong, got ruined.
The majority of the news footage is similar as they cameras were not close enough to have much difference in what could be filmed plus there was no interviews (a press conference was to be held in the afternoon).
So unless the footage is raw and is just part of compiles it`s very hard to know what the source is. Hopefully we have it all correct.
"Reuters" filmed their arrival with the subsequent footage turning up all over the World in various edits.
