Notes: Not to be outdone by Paul`s appearance at the 1986 Prince`s Trust Concert, George & Ringo took to the stage in two shows in June 1987.
Rehearsals and a photo shoot occurred on the first day with the first concert held that night. A second concert was held the following night with the same performers.
An edited TV special featuring footage from both concerts was aired a couple of weeks later in England and later in September in America and even later in other parts of the World.
George performed excellent versions of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "Here Comes The Sun" and Ringo performed an outstanding "With a Little Help From My Friends".
Only at the first concert, George & Ringo sang along with Ben E. King on his classic song "Stand By Me".
A brief interview with George & Ringo done outside at Wembley and also footage of the performers meeting Princess Diana and Prince Charles were also shown during the TV special.
An album and CD of the concert highlights were also issued plus home video, DVD and laserdiscs.
