Notes: Paul put together a promo video for his song "Maybe I`m Amazed".
Although it wasn`t issued as a single it was the arguably the best track on this debut "McCartney" album.
The promo features a montage of photographs taken by Linda over the previous 2 years.
Over the years a number of remixed/remastered versions of the promo have been made.
The original promo was first broadcast on "Top of The Pops" on April 19, 1970.
This version was bootlegged later in the 1970`s and was all that was available until 1993 when Paul re-issued the promo to promote his "Paul McCartney Collection" CD`s with remixed audio.
In 2007 it was included in his "McCartney Years" DVD collection of promos.
This version, although remastered, was heavily cropped for widescreen.
In June 2011, to promote his "McCartney" Deluxe archive box set, the promo was included on a DVD in the collection.
This version, thankfully, restored the promo to its original dimensions with lovely remastering and a new audio remix.
Once again in 2020 the promo was released officially onto Paul`s Youtube channel but again they sadly used the cropped version.
Of note there was another version issued in 2001 to promote "Wingspan".
This used some different photos and actual film from their wedding and the "unplugged" session at Paul`s Scottish Farm in June 1971.
