Notes: Late on August 12 John and Yoko flew to New York, never to return to England. They took up residence in the St. Regis Hotel.
3 weeks later they began more filming for their TV special. Over the period of a week in early September they invited celebrities to their hotel suite and filmed them entering the room with Yoko.
One of the first was Fred Astaire who filmed his entrance on September 2.
Dick Cavett and George Harrison filmed theirs on September 6 with Jack Palance, Jonas Mekas and John himself filming their scenes during the week.
