Notes: George and Ringo both attended the 1988 "Rock `n` Roll Hall of Fame" ceremony to accept The Beatles induction into the hall of fame (Mick Jagger inducted them).
Also present, representing John was Yoko, Julian & Sean. Paul declined to attend citing business differences.
All participated in the end of ceremony jam session with George teaming up with Billy Joel, Mick Jagger and Bruce Springsteen
for a memorable version of "I Saw Her Standing There" along with Ringo on drums as well as a chaotic version of "All Along The Watchtower" with Dylan.
Many TV networks from all around the World were on hand to film parts of the ceremony and in particular The Beatles induction,
therefore many various bits of footage from all angles were broadcast over the following days and are now in the hands of collectors.
There was no official TV broadcast of the ceremony (unlike in later years) but some of the inductions and performances were issued in 2009 in a 9 DVD box set (and also on 1 and 3 disc versions) from Time/Life.
The Beatles full unedited induction speech and the jam performance of "I Saw Her Standing There" were both included in the 3 & 9 disc collections that were issued on DVD.
With all the TV cameras at the ceremony it`s surprising that no one managed an interview with either George or Ringo.
